The THNS Forum is an International Symposium on the Sustainable Development of Urban Transport Systems. The Forum especially fosters the East-West exchange of knowledge advances: research outcomes, innovative technologies, implementation reports etc. It brings together academics, policy makers and business representatives (operators, constructors, consultants).
The THNS Forum jointly initiated in 2008 by Tongji University, ParisTech, and the French Ministry for the Environment. Over the years, it has been supported by Chinese and French Ministries of Transportation, Environment, Housing, Urban Planning, Rural Construction, Ecological and Solidary Transitions. From 2020, the THNS forums are held online: the last two editions attracted more than 400 participants from 20 countries.
Conference language is English. The online sessions will be arranged in 4 mornings of Paris time in week 5-7th November. All submissions and registrations shall be completed on the main THNS website. Candidate speakers for 15’ min presentation slots are invited to submit an abstract by 10th August, 2024. (Short abstract of about 300 words, including title, plus personal biography).
