CIRED congratulates Romain Espinosa for his Best Paper Award at the XVII Congress of the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE) Agri-food systems in a changing world: Connecting science and society which took place from August 29 to September 1st in Rennes.
The paper, The Animal Welfare Levy, co-authored with Nicolas Treich, introduces a method to compute animal welfare taxes that account for varying welfare levels and varying population sizes.
