Master's degree courses

Master’s degree courses

〉CIRED hosts the courses of the Economics – Energy – Environment prospective modeling course of the EEET Master (Environment, Energy and Transport Economics). Unique in Europe, this training aims to train professionals capable of enlightening the debate on the stakes at the interface between environment and development; by mastering the whole chain of construction, implementation and use of large numerical models that represent the interactions between economic systems, energy systems and environmental systems.

The fundamental teaching of the program is based on a core of professionals from AgroParisTech, Ecole des Ponts, and Ecole Centrale de Paris, with contributions from researchers from Ecole des Mines, CNRS, and INRA.

〉CIRED is one of the founding teams of the Master Economie de l’Energie, de l’Environnement et du Transport (EEET) co-habilitated by AgroParisTech, Ecole Polytechnique, MINES ParisTech, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, Université Paris Ouest-Nanterre, IFP School, Institut National des Sciences et Techniques du Nucléaire, Université de Bourgogne and Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales. The courses taught by CIRED researchers and teachers, in addition to those of the modeling course held in the laboratory, are “Economics and Nature: Interdisciplinary Approaches”, “Economics of Biodiversity”, and “Eco-development”.

〉The CIRED is also associated with the ParisTech Fondation Renault Professional Master’s Degree in Transport and Sustainable Development.
