Abstract
This interdisciplinary thesis project focuses on Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) and their contribution to biodiversity and equity in Paris. The different natural spaces in the city and the ecosystem services they provide will be spatially modeled and this distribution will be analyzed in relation to social and environmental inequalities in the city. The preferences of city dwellers and different stakeholders vis-à-vis NBS projects will be studied. These results will contribute to the design of NBS scenario in a concerted way with the stakeholders and the city. This research project seeks to estimate to what extent NBS development helps reducing social inequalities in the distribution of green spaces and ecosystem services in the city.
